Dances from Oltenia Part Eight

In Romania, time dances to the rhythm of folklore, painting its landscapes with vibrant colours

It's back to Oltenia for more music and dance. 

 Video #1 is Hora Olteneasca. Dances from this region tend to be energetic. Many are two minute aerobic workouts.

The dominant instrument is the bagpipe. You can read more about the instrument here. There is a dance named after it, Cimpoithat you can watch in one of the posts listed below.
 
   

Video # 2 is Hora de la Goicea, named after a village in southwest Romania.  (The name was misspelled in the title of the video.) This is another example of a workout in less than two minutes.
